The Sportsmen’s Alliance, a national non-profit leading the fight against legislation and political initiatives from animal-rights organizations that target sportsmen and professional wildlife managers, will host several sporting clay shoots throughout the country as a means to raise awareness and funds to protect hunting, fishing and trapping.
“The outdoor community continues to experience an increasing number of attacks brought about by anti-hunting organizations. Our team of experts is at the forefront, fighting on behalf of sportsmen across the country,” said Sean Curran, Sportsmen’s Alliance Vice President of Membership and Development. “The future of our outdoor heritage is something that every sportsman shares a responsibility to protect. Our sporting clay series provides an interactive venue for the Sportsmen’s Alliance to expand our outreach and education, while also raising the necessary funding to engage in these ever-expanding issues.”
Participants can expect a full day of fun, camaraderie and a delicious lunch at each shoot. Teams of five will compete by shooting a 100-target round using ammunition provided in either 12 or 20 gauge. Everybody has a chance to receive an award through the Lewis Class Handicap System.
