Hawai’i is continuing with its assault on its sportsmen. Sadly, last week, the Senate overwhelmingly passed legislation restricting the state’s young adults from purchasing, possessing, or controlling ammunition. This egregious legislation is now waiting for committee assignment in the House.
Senate Bill 2845 prohibits a person under the age of twenty-one from purchasing, possessing, or controlling ammunition, with limited exceptions. Criminals, by definition, do not follow the law, and SB 2875 will not stop criminals from finding a way to use and possess ammunition.
Please keep an eye on your inbox, as we continue to monitor SB 2845 and will alert you when the next call to action is needed.
