Yesterday, March 1, the Senate Commerce & Consumer Protection and Ways & Means Committee passed Senate Bill 682. As we previously reported, SB 682 bans the sale of fur in Hawai’i.
Animal-rights extremists want you to think banning the sale of fur is about protecting animals. SB 682 is really about dictating what you can and can’t wear or use in the Aloha State.
The next hearing date has not been announced yet and we will continue to monitor this legislation. We will send you an email when action is needed, and you can check www.sportsmensalliance.org as well.
