Yesterday, the Senate passed House Bill 2304, a bill to ensure our children receive the best instruction regarding firearm safety. HB 2304 will now head to Gov. Laura Kelly for her consideration. Please use our Take Action button below asking the Governor to sign this important firearm education program into law.
HB 2304 establishes curriculum guidelines for a standardized firearm safety education program, based on the NRA’s Eddie Eagle gun-safe program, the hunter education program offered by the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, or instruction currently certified in schools for such purposes.
