The authorization to train dogs for bear hunting in portions of Washington County and Hancock County is due to end on May 1, 2025. However, on Monday, March 10, at 1 p.m., the Committee on Inland Fisheries and Wildlife will hold a public hearing on LD 751, which would continue to allow the training of dogs for bear hunting bear in portions of those counties.
Use our Take Action button to email the committee. Urge them to support sportsmen & their bear dogs by voting “Yes” on LD 751.
Make sure you share this alert with your family, friends, and fellow sportsmen asking them to Take Action on this important issue. Also encourage them to join you and the Sportsmen’s Alliance in the fight to protect our values and lifestyle today, tomorrow, and for the future.
